Funds launch Capital Caring Health's ‘So No One Dies Alone Program’

The local nonprofit provider of elder health, hospice and advanced illness care, Capital Caring Health, received a $30K donation from EagleForce Warrior Foundation to launch the provider's 'So No One Dies Alone Program' for Veterans from Northern Virginia and nearby areas and their families. "We recognize the sacrifices made by our military and their families, and we're proud to be a part of this new program ensuring our Veteran heroes are surrounded by the compassionate presence of another human being as they near the end of life," said Cheryl Campbell, CEO, The EagleForce Warrior Foundation.


$30K Donation from The EagleForce Warrior Foundation Provides Funding to Launch Capital Caring Health’s So No One Dies Alone Program for Veterans

The EagleForce Warrior Foundation has donated $30,000 to Capital Caring Health supporting the organization’s So No One Dies Alone Program for Veterans and their families.

Through The EagleForce Warrior Foundation’s signature Vet Jets Program, private and commercial air travel will be provided to families of Armed Forces Veterans nearing the end of life to be at the bedside of their loved one. The grant will also cover ground transportation expenses and is available to families who do not have the financial resources to cover travel expenses.

A gala to benefit the EagleForce Warrior Foundation that supports veterans and their families will be held Saturday, June 8, at The Fairmont, D.C.

EagleForce provides aviation and ground transportation for wounded sailors, soldiers, airmen, Marines, National Guardsmen, Reservists, Coast Guardsmen and their families as they transition to and from their initial critical care in military hospitals and subsequent treatment in Veterans Affairs medical centers, civilian hospitals and clinics.

The EagleForce Warrior Foundation, a not-for-profit support organization for veterans and their families--based in Herndon, Virginia, celebrated its inaugural gala on June 1st at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, D.C. Dr. Paul Tibbits, Veteran Services Awardee, characterized the foundation in four words: courage, confidence, care, and charisma. The sold-out gala, attended by the region’s most prominent leaders, honored our veterans, service members, and their families for their commitment to the prosperity of our nation.

The EagleForce Warrior Foundation, a not-for-profit support organization for veterans and their families--based in Herndon, Virginia, announces its inaugural EagleForce Warrior Foundation Gala to benefit veteran's programs will be held at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, D.C., on Jun. 1, from 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Black tie affair with approximately 300 military veterans, Government Officials, Commercial and Government Contractors.

Cheryl Campbell started the EagleForce Warrior Foundation with one simple mission: helping veterans succeed by bringing loved ones together in their time of need.

"When you have an opportunity to tour Walter Reed, it’s clear that those who have family with them, an advocate with them, they have a sense of joy, a sense of hope and sense of future," Campbell said. "When their families are not there, you see hopelessness and uncertainly about what’s next."
